Founder
Hello, I’m Katie Winstanley, founder of The Manor country Spa and Retreat.
Previously a Nurse from the UK - we came out to NZ in the year 2001 with our young family to start a new life.
After nursing here for 5 years a back injury at work, I knew I needed a change, and we had just purchased the old Manor House! Having become disillusioned with conventional medicine I always wanted to run a day spa so that people can escape everyday pressures The Manor seemed the perfect place to realise my dream!
So proud to have created a space that feels so luxurious and welcoming, so you feel like you are on holiday. With wellness at the core. Think: saunas, breathwork, skin and gut health , tailored facials using organic natural ingredients, cold plunge experiences, wellness workshops, and lifestyle support.
Less focus on beauty trends — more on long-term vitality. It’s a place where you come not just for a treatment, but for transformation!

Jaz – Senior Brow Angel & Owner of ND Brows
Brow artistry isn’t just a career for Jaz – it’s a lifelong passion. Growing up as the daughter of The Manor Spa’s founder, Jaz has been immersed in the world of beauty and wellness for as long as she can remember. She’s not only mastered the art of brows but has helped shape the next generation of brow specialists.
Alongside Katie, Jaz co-founded a renowned brow training school, mentoring and inspiring many talented therapists who now run successful careers of their own. Her commitment to quality, detail, and client confidence shines through in every treatment she offers.
Though currently on maternity leave, Jaz is so dedicated to her loyal clients that she has opened limited appointment times on Tuesday mornings (9:15–12:30) – a special opportunity to experience the magic of her brow expertise.
Sasha Moss
Admin Manager Front of House
I’ve had the pleasure of being part of the team for nearly 4 years in the admin/ front of house role.
Each day brings something new, which is what makes it so exciting! I’m passionate about keeping everything running smoothly, from day-to-day tasks to working alongside our amazing team and clients.
Note from Katie; Sasha is such a beautiful soul! She is seriously the most organised clean meticulous person I know. Her write up (I asked everyone to write) should really be 6 pages long as she does so much behind the scenes to make sure your experience is out of this world. Thank you, Sasha, you are my superstar!

Sara has been an integral part of our team for the past 5 years, bringing with her a deep passion for creating unforgettable wellness experiences.
Sara was proudly awarded 2nd place in the Pure Fiji Therapist of the Year Awards 2024 – an incredible achievement that reflects her skill and dedication.
Mature, compassionate, and wonderfully gentle, Sara has a gift for making clients feel truly nurtured. She specialises in massage and facials, crafting a serene environment where you can completely relax and let go.
Her pregnancy massage is especially sought-after, known for leaving mums-to-be feeling cared for, calm, and deeply restored.
Sara has also recently trained in Resculpting Buccal Massage, elevating her facials to an advanced, rejuvenating level that clients adore.

Paige has been with us since the very beginning — an incredible 15 years of dedication, expertise, and care.
Specialties & Availability:
Passionate about brows — one of the very first Brow Angels to graduate from our Brow Academy.
Known for her flawless French Tip Manicures.
Available Thursdays and Saturdays.

Hollie Hawkins

We are so thrilled Hollie is doing her Nurse training this year, but we will still see her on the floor whenever she has time! Catch her most Saturdays but will need to book in advance!

My main passion in the Beauty Industry is making people feel their best and making sure they are well looked after; the treatments themselves are just a bonus! I enjoy all aspects of beauty, an all-rounder! From the fluffy treatments like facials and massage, the intense skin treatments as well as the pretty things like brows and nails!"
